Integrative interventions are a combined approach to psychotherapy that brings together different elements of specific therapies. That means that I take the view that there is no single approach that can treat each client in all situations. Rather, each person needs to be considered as a whole and therapeutic techniques are tailored to their individual needs and personal circumstances. This was my first model of training : integrative three models of practice within a framework person-centred, psychodynamic and CBT.
Why use integrative approach? How can it help you.
An integrative approach can be used to treat a range of psychological concerns, including depression, anxiety, neurodiversity, grief, low self-esteem, self-harm, trauma and PTSD, relationship issues, sleep concerns, substance use disorders, and is adaptive to practice with children and adults.
